Talaash (talaash.me) is a digital career discovery platform. Privacy enquiries may be directed to privacy@talaash.me.

We collect information you provide or generate while using Talaash, including:

• Name and email address through sign-in or registration.
• Phone/WhatsApp number, city, country, education, work experience, interests, and skills.
• Resume text extracted from uploaded PDF or Word documents.
• Your responses in the Career DNA conversation.
• Generated Career DNA reports, roadmap downloads, and session history.
• Payment status, order IDs, retake status, and support messages.

• To create and display your personalised Career DNA report.
• To parse resumes, maintain your profile, and continue saved sessions.
• To process payments, unlock access, support retakes, and prevent misuse.
• To send transactional emails and respond to support requests.
• To improve quality, reliability, and safety of the service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Your data is stored using Firebase Authentication, Supabase database/storage, and related secure service providers. Resume files, extracted resume text, conversation history, and PDF reports are access-restricted to your account and required backend services.

We retain account, profile, conversation, report, payment, and support data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service, resolve issues, prevent misuse, and meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us.

• Firebase (Google) - authentication.
• Supabase - database and file storage.
• Anthropic / Google Gemini - AI-assisted report generation.
• Resend - transactional email delivery.
• Cashfree - payment processing. Talaash does not store full card, UPI, or banking credentials.

Career DNA reports are generated using your profile, resume extraction where provided, conversation responses, and AI-assisted analysis. AI outputs are interpretive and may not be perfect. We use them to provide career discovery, not advertising.

Talaash may be used by students. If you are under 18, use the service with permission from a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians may contact us to request correction or deletion of a minor's personal data.

You may request:

• A copy of personal data associated with your account.
• Correction of inaccurate profile information.
• Deletion of your account and associated data, subject to lawful retention needs.
• Withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent.

Talaash uses functional cookies and browser storage required for sign-in, sessions, payment flow, and security. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use of Talaash after changes means you accept the updated policy.
